Health Link
Healthlink is the National Health Messaging broker and provides a web-based messaging service that allows the secure transmission of clinical patient information between Hospitals, Health Care Agencies and Medical Practitioners. Healthlink is funded by the HSE and all our services are free of charge to GPs.
Healthlink is part of the Access to Information & Health Identifiers Programme under the Office of the CIO. Blackberry Hearing has been a trusted member of eHealth Ireland since 2020. As an eHealth Ireland member, we offer full Audiology services to patients who are referred by their GP.
Audiology Referrals
Once a GP has identified that a patient requires an Audiology assessment, a digital referral is created by the GP which alerts our team. Our team of fully qualified Audiologists can provide the following services.
- Free hearing test for adults
- Microsuction ear wax removal
- Workplace or medical assessments
- Physical examination of the inner ear
- Discussion & advice for Tinnitus
