Our Audiologists conduct the following safety checks:

1. Temperature check with a non contact thermometer on both themselves & the patient.
2. Audiologists will use full PPE & hand sanitizer.
3. Facemasks are worn by both the Audiologists & patient.
4. All audiometric equipment is cleaned with medical wipes to ensure your safety.
5. Covid-19 Screening Call:
6. Prior to booking your appointment, a member of our team will give you a short call to go through some Covid 19 screening questions.

Cough?

1. High temperature?
2. Shortness of breath or breathing difficulties?
3. Have you been outside of Ireland recently?
4. Have you been in close contact with someone diagnosed with or suspected of having coronavirus in the last 14 days?
5. Arriving for your hearing test:
6. When you arrive at the clinic please remain in your car. Once the Audiologist is ready to see you, they will call you on the mobile number that you have provided & meet you at the front door.
7. Full safety checks listed above are conducted.

Home Visits:

We offer home visits to patients who may not be able to visit a clinic at this time. Our Audiologists can provide a full hearing consultation from the comfort of your home.

The following checks are carried out prior to a home visit:

A member of our team will call the designated contact & ask the Covid screening questions as above.

• Temperature checks will be conducted on the Audiologists & patient before entering the home.
• Hand & face masks are worn.
• Audiologists will use full PPE. Face masks and hand sanitizer are worn by both the Audiologists & patient.
• All audiometric equipment is cleaned with medical wipes to ensure your safety.
