Katie is a Cork native and joined Blackberry Hearing in September 2024. She completed her BSc in Public Health Science at UCC and then furthered her studies with an MSc in Audiology at UCC, graduating in 2024.

Katie brings valuable experience from her work with both adult and paediatric patients in the Irish healthcare system. Her professional background, combined with her personal experience with family members who have hearing loss, has given her insight into the impact hearing loss can have on daily life, overall health, and well-being.

Katie is passionate about early intervention and rehabilitation to enhance people’s quality of life. She enjoys working with patients to make joint decisions on the best management plan for their individual hearing loss.

“I love seeing how hearing aids can improve people’s communication with friends and family, and how they allow them to regain their independence and confidence.”

Outside of work, Katie loves spending time with friends and family, traveling, and going to the gym.
