Alex is a Cork native and joined Blackberry Hearing in September 2024. Alex has completed both her BA Early Years and Childhood studies and MSc Audiology at University College Cork.

Alex brings valuable experience from working with both adults and paediatrics in speech and hearing services across the HSE and NHS. Alex is passionate about early intervention, as identifying hearing loss early allows for effective management to be put in place, improving an individual’s quality of life and regaining their confidence.

Alex has a particular interest in rehabilitation and resolving speech difficulties in the presence of background noise. Her personal and professional experience has enabled her to see the impact of hearing loss has on one’s wellbeing and the difficulties it brings in noisier environments.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time with her friends and family and playing sport.
